We're looking to increase our staff of volunteer writers, editors, contributors, reviewers, forum leaders etc. If you are interested please read below.

How much will I get paid?

Our goal is to share useful tools, information, knowledge, opinions and culture, so these positions aren't paid but you will get your writing noticed by many of people each day and at same time it will be a chance to be part our websites as a collaborative project. This a volunteer-based program, with no financial compensation.

As volunteer, there are almost no requirements for the amount of time you are expected to collaborate. We understand that you probably have other things to do and we appreciate any time that you can take out of your busy life to help contribute however we expect you will keep you active.

How can I join in?

Since we got lots of spam, it will be appreciated if you join our Forum and send a personal message to the admins, this will allow to check if your mail is a valid one and at same it will show your real interest in join us and our staff, specially to our Forum Leaders who will have Forum privileges.

Guidelines

Language

English language it's a must, and as such, all editors should have a firm command of the English language, and possess above average written skills. However if you speak Spanish or French, there are forums that need your help.

We expect readers and members from around the world so please avoid slang, jargons, abbreviations , non-standard speech, etc.

Topics to Write On

1BluePlanet.com accepts content on almost any travel related issues , however there are another subjects and topics we would appreciate that can fit our sister sites.

Here are some of the general topics that you can choose from. Remember, if you have an idea for a section or topic that is not listed here, please let us know about it and we'll work with you to see if it can fit into our sites. (Politics, religion, or any kind proselytism, gambling, pharmacy adult, or offensive or discriminating threads will be rejected. All related topics or credits will not be accepted).

Write from the Forums

We encourage articles to be written based on forum topics on 1BluePlanet.com . Explore the many forums on 1BluePlanet.com find a forum/topic/posts that fit your area of expertise and write about it. Your articles must be a more in depth look at your chosen topic.

Article Specifications

Once you are accepted all articles and post can be directly submit by yourself.

Length and style may vary from author to author. You will be free on this. If there are any issues with an article we will let you know.

If you want to write about something that is especially long, please consider breaking it up into parts to be posted over a certain period of a time (i.e. an article series)

We will review every article that is submitted, and will inform you if there are any issues.

Credits

You will be free to list biographical data, interests, and links to other websites that you are involved with. Forum posts can have links of your website, blog, etc. Our blogs have an option to your Bio

If you don't have a website or profile to link to your credit, you can have your own on one of our sites.

If you are not a computer skill or familiar with forum and blog functions technical issues and still you want collaborate with us then we will help you, write us and we will submit your article or post and we will give you full instructions.
