Better than an expensive air flight, or Euro tunnel - go by train. train from Dover to London * You will take a big boat you Ostend, Belgium to take the ferry ride is pleasant and offers a duty free shop where you both Besides looking at rural areas of countries Brussels. In train will catch many restaurants.

And it's cheap!

If the thing that’s stopped you sponsoring me so far is the thought that I’m not taking this seriously then let me tell you about my forthcoming plans for March, April, May and June.  Readers of this blog will know that I completed the Mad March Hare Sportive last Sunday and here’s what I’ll be doing going forward.

Europe become a great place to travel by a train, it is so convenient and fast and of course cheaper then flights. I wonder how it feels to ride the train with 300kmh.

We are trying to find the cheapest way by rail from London to Brussels return. We are then traveling on to Berlin, using the Benelux saver pass but initially we have to find the cheapest way to Brussels. Many Thanks!

There are abounding airline companies such as British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Blue Air, British Midland airways etc. that accommodate flight casework amid these two cities. It takes about 1 hr 15 min in the journey.

For travel between London and Paris, we found midweek flights on EasyJet from London's Luton airport to Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris for around $33 round-trip, including taxes and fees.

Take the 19:32 train from London Liverpool Street station to Harwich in EasyJet.  At Harwich International, the train arrives right at the ferry terminal.  You walk off the train and into the ferry terminal, check in for the ferry and walk onto the ship.  Unlike flying, it's totally painless.

Take Eurostar from London to Brussels in just 1 hour 55 minutes, switch to a high-speed Thalys or ICE high-speed train from Brussels to Cologne in 1 hour 57 minutes, then take a superb ICE high-speed train from Cologne to just about anywhere in Germany.

For the voyage between Manchester and Manchester, the EasyJet journey and relationships, priced at only $66 round-trip, is 50 % the cost of the Eurostar vacation, and value the more time voyage if you have the time to extra. If you only have a few times in the town you're viewing, or dislike the problem of traveling by air, the costly, but much quicker Eurostar trip may be a better option.
