I am not an experienced trekker but how you prepare yourself and the people you guide for the altitude, I was twice 5,000 m and almost dieying  {tongue} I wouldnt dare go higher again...

Well it is fairly simple. We ask them if they ever had any trek experience and if yes, we ask them of the altitude theyclimbed. IF someone has problems with high alt., we simply inform him/her that the specified trek is not meant for people who may face problems a high altitudes.
Each trek is graded; from easy to strenous. But some are graded according to altitude.
So medically fit is one requirement apart from many other requirements that are must. We keep a check list.

This trip to Pakistan is truly an adventure. It sounds really cool.
