Transfer Between Terminals: Rail: Underground: An underground
Airport Rail Link (tel: (0)2 9384 1000) connects the International and Domestic
terminals and the city. Trains run every ten minutes at peak times and every
15 minutes off-peak 0500-2400 Monday-Friday, 0500-0100 Friday-Sunday (journey
time: 12 minutes). Road: Bus: Qantas, Ansett and Green and Gold Airport Express
buses operate frequent services between the terminals.
The International Terminal help desk is located next to the glass lifts in the centre of the terminal on Departures level 2; the Tourism New South Wales information desk is located in the centre of Arrivals level 1 and is open 0600-until the last flight Monday-Sunday. There is also an airport information line (tel: (0)2 9667 9111). Domestic help desks are situated within the Qantas, Ansett and Domestic Express Domestic terminals.

de change and ATMs are located on Departures level 2 and Arrivals
level 1 of the International Terminal. Postal and fax facilities
can be found at Australia Post located in the centre of Departures
level 2 and the airport bar provides Internet and e-mail services.
Eight free Internet access terminals are located in both public
and airside restricted areas, offering free web browsing and e-mail
services.
Eating and drinking: There are nine restaurants and cafés
at the airport offering a wide variety of international and Australian cuisine.
Shopping: There are over 130 retail and service outlets,
including beauty and hair salons, a wine store, an Australian produce shop,
international and Australian fashion stores, and a host of speciality stores.
Other facilities: There is a medical centre in the International
terminal on level 3, open 0800-1800 Monday-Friday and 0900-1600 Saturday-Sunday.
There is also a pharmacy at the airport. Child activity centres and Kid's Cinemas
are located in each of the One World and Star Alliance gate lounges. Child-sized
toilets are installed in all female toilets and baby changing rooms are located
at convenient locations throughout the terminal. Passengers can smoke in a
dedicated smoking room once they have passed through immigration at gate 32

A media/conference centre with full audiovisual and broadcast facilities for up to 55 people is located at the northern end of International Arrivals on level 1, whilst the Kingsford Smith conference and display centre is located on level 3 and can seat up to 500 people. VIP lounges with full business and private meeting facilities are located at each end of the International Terminal in the Arrivals area. Access to these areas is restricted. Six airline membership lounges are located within the terminal and are available to members. Post and fax services can be found at Australia Post on Departures level 2 of the International Terminal.
Avis , Budget and Hertz are all represented; they are located on the left hand side when leaving the International Arrivals hall.
The airport has three car parks: the International Terminal (daily), the Wilson Domestic (daily) and the Wilson long-term (for stays of over three days). There are also 42 short-term parking spaces positioned close to the International Terminal, as well as a centrally located set-down and pick-up area.
Most routes to the airport have signs showing which way to turn at each junction; these signs indicate the most direct route to the airport. Travellers should visit the airport's website (website: www.sydneyairport.com.au) for detailed driving directions from areas in Sydney.
Rail:
Train: An Airport Rail Link (tel: (0)2 9384 1000) connects the International
and Domestic terminals and the city centre. The Domestic Airport Rail Link
Terminal is equidistant between the three Domestic terminals.
Road:
Taxi: A taxi rank is located outside the mid-point of the Arrivals hall in the
International Terminal; maxi-taxis and wagons, as well as normal taxis, offer
baby capsules and wheelchair access (journey time to city centre: 30 minutes).
Taxi ranks also operate directly outside each Domestic terminal. Limousine: Pre-booked
limousines are available directly in front of the International Arrivals hall.
Bus: The bus area is located on the right, next to the airport's outdoor Piazza,
after leaving the International Arrivals hall. Coach: The coach area is also
located on the right, next to the airport's outdoor Piazza, after leaving the
International Arrivals hall. At the Domestic precinct, there are covered waiting
areas at bus stops (outside the Domestic Express Terminal and opposite the Ansett
and Qantas terminals) used for coaches and city express buses
The Tourism New South Wales Travel Centre on Arrivals level 1 of the International Terminal can help arrange accommodation in Sydney. Hotel buses run every half hour to selected hotels in Sydney city, Kings Cross, Glebe, Double Bay and Darling Harbour.
