There is an information desk (tel: (0)41 507 7319) in the Arrivals hall which is open 0530-2030 Monday-Thursday, 0530-2200 Friday, 0730-2000 Saturday and 0730-2200 Sunday. Hotels and sightseeing excursions can be booked at the desk.

AIRPORT FACILITIES

Money and communications: There is an ATM in the passage between the Arrivals and Departures halls and the information desk operates a bureau de change facility. There is also a post box in the Departures hall. Telephones are available in the Arrivals and Departures halls and in the sterile area; mobile telephones can also be hired.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants and cafés in the Arrivals and Departures halls.
Shopping: There is a gift shop open 0700-1800 Monday-Friday and 0900-1300 Saturday-Sunday, a sweet shop and a sportswear shop. These are located in the Departures hall. In the Arrivals hall, there is a golf and gift shop.
Other facilities: Toilets are available in the Arrivals and Departures halls, in the sterile areas and on the first floor. Baby changing facilities are available in the ladies toilets in the Arrivals and Departures halls

SERVICE TO PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

The airport has accessible toilets for disabled travellers and lifts are available to the first floor, where the business class lounge and restaurant are situated. Contact the information desk (tel: (0)41 507 7319) for assistance.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

There is a conference room (tel: (0)41 507 7417 or 507 7418) 200m (250 yards) from the Arrivals hall which can seat 25-30 people. A secretarial service is available, as well as a television, video, overhead projector and white boards.

Open short-term car parking (up to 8 hours), covered parking and lock-up garages are all available. These are located directly in front of the terminal building.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

The airport can be reached from the city centre by taking Route M11 from Humewood into Alister Miller Drive. The terminal is then on the left-hand side of the road.

Taxi: Metered taxis are available outside the Arrivals hall. Bus: Shuttle services are available on request or by booking in advance at the Arrivals hall. These operate according to flight schedules and passengers can also book their return journey to the airport in advance

There are no hotels at the airport. There are five hotels located within 6km (4 miles) of the airport along the beachfront, as well as several guesthouses. These include the Boardwalk (tel: (0)41 507 7777) and the Holiday Inn (tel: (0)41 582 3720).
