AIRPORT FACILITIES

Money and communications: The terminal has a full service bank, 24-hour bureau de change facilities and several ATMs. There are post boxes, a post office and telephones.
Eating and drinking: There are many bars and restaurants at the airport. There is a snack bar and a self-service restaurant in Arrivals in the Central Terminal, a snack bar on the second floor in the Central Terminal, and a restaurant, a pizzeria, two self-service restaurants, two cafés, a bar and a juice bar in Departures on the fourth floor in the Central Terminal. There is a café and a fast food outlet in Concourse A, a snack bar in Concourse B, three snack bars in Concourse C and two snack bars in Concourse D.
Shopping: Shops include duty-free, a tobacconists, toy shop, leather goods shop, shoe shops, a jewellers, opticians, florists, sweet shops, gift shops and a clothing accessories shop
Other facilities: There are 24-hour first aid services and a pharmacy. There are numerous travel agents located throughout Arrivals

SERVICE TO PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

There are lifts and ramps in the terminal where necessary and wheelchair-accessible toilets are available. Disabled parking spaces are also available.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

Business facilities are available in the Departures lounge. There are three VIP lounges (tel: 971 789 631; fax: 971 789 526) at the airport, the Randa, l'Ofre and Tomir, situated on the Departures floor. These are open 0600-2300 and provide free newspapers, a television, telephone and self-service bar. The airport can also provide conference/meeting rooms, telephone, fax machines, computers and data lines, and there is a board room for hire in the Randa VIP lounge.

CAR RENTAL

Car hire companies include Avis , National-Atesa , Sixt , Betacar-Europcar , Centauro , Hasso , Tui Cars-Ultramar Express and Hertz . Car hire companies are located on the ground floor of the airport car park.

CAR PARKING

There is a covered car park close to the terminal for long-term and short-term parking. The car park has a capacity for 5700 vehicles on seven floors. The ground floor has room for 700 vehicles and is used by car hire companies. All floors are fitted with parking spaces and toilets for the disabled. The fourth floor has passenger travelators that connect the car park to the terminal building.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

To get to the airport take the autovia (main road) in the direction of Santañy and turn off before the airport.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Road:
Taxi: Taxis leave from outside Door D on the Arrivals floor. Taxi companies serving the city centre (journey time: 15 minutes) include Radio Taxi, Taxi Teléfono, Taxi Palma and Fono Taxi. Bus: Bus no. 17 leaves the airport every 20 minutes 0610-0130, running to Paseo Mallorca in central Palma de Mallorca (journey time: approximately 30 minutes). Bus no. 17 leaves Palma every 20 minutes 0540-0130, whilst bus no. 25 runs between the airport and Palma (journey time: approximately 25 minutes) every 30 minutes 0630-0100. Bus no. 25 is faster and does not stop between the airport and Palma. There is a bus stop in front of the multi-storey car park, outside Door D of the Arrivals floor, and there is a bus stop outside the Check-in floor

There are no hotels in the airport grounds, but hotel reservations can be made at the airport (tel: 971 789 322). Hotels in Palma include the Melia Victoria (tel: 971 732 542), Palas Atenea Sol (tel: 971 281 400) and Saratoga (tel: 971 727 240); hotels in Playa de Palma include the Garonda (tel: 971 262 200) and Playa Park (tel: 971 261 950). The Arabella Sheraton Golf Hotel (tel: 971 787 100) is located on the Son Vida golf course, 15km (10 miles) from the airport.
