SERVICE TO PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

Assistance for disabled passengers, who should inform their airline of any special needs when making their flight booking, is available. The Sala Amica (courtesy lounge) in Terminal 1 provides toilets for people with reduced mobility, telephones for the hearing-impaired as well as newspapers and magazines in Braille if required.

CAR PARKING

Short- and long-term parking, operated by SEA Gestione Parking (tel: (0)2 7486 2591) and APCOA (tel: (0)2 5858 1069), is available close to Terminal 1. APCOA provides covered parking spaces that are linked directly to the terminal by a walkway; payment can be made at automated payment machines. SEA Gestione Parking also provides long- and short-term parking close to Terminal 2. A Park & Fly shuttle bus is available.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Teminal 1 can be reached from Stateroad 336. Drivers should take the Busto Arsizio exit from the Autostrada dei Laghi (A8).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Rail:
Train: Trains run from Terminal 1 to Milano Cadorna Station (journey time: 40 minutes) every 30 minutes 0430-2230 Monday-Friday.
Road:
Taxi: Taxis are available from outside Arrivals. Bus: Buses run from both terminals to Milano Centrale Station every 20 minutes 0430-2230 Monday-Sunday. The Malpensa Bus Express runs from Terminal 1 to Milano Fiera Stazione Centrale Station (for Milan's conferences and exhibition centre) 0630-2350 Monday-Sunday

AIRPORT HOTELS

The four-star Villa Malpensa (tel: (0)3 3123 0944) is situated 500m (546 yards) from the airport; a free shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes 0630-2300. Travellers should phone the hotel upon arrival at the airport, stating their gate number. The Jet Hotel (tel: (0)3 3177 2100) is 10km (6 miles) from the airport.
