TOURIST INFORMATION

Airport information desks (tel: (0)95 204 8804) can be found in Arrivals at both terminals and in Departures in Terminal A. The multilingual staff wear mint green jackets for easy identification. Airlines also have information desks in both Arrivals and Departures.

AIRPORT FACILITIES

Money and communications: There is a bank open 0900-1930 in Arrivals in Terminal A, as well as several ATMs and postboxes.
Eating and drinking: There are bars, restaurants and fast food outlets which can be found in the Centro Plaza in Terminal B. Bars and cafés are also available in the Centro Comercial in Departures on the second floor of Terminal A.
Shopping: A variety of shops including a pharmacy can be found in the Central Plaza in Terminal B. Many more shops including duty-free are available in the Centro Comercial in Departures on the second floor of Terminal A.

CAR RENTAL

There is no business centre at the airport, although there are international telephone facilities and two VIP lounges with telephone and fax facilities. Rooms at the airport can be rented as meeting rooms.

CAR PARKING

Car parks are available outside both terminals; both offer short-term parking. Both covered and outdoor parking is available in the car park outside Terminal A, whilst long-term parking (more than four days) is available in the Terminal B car park.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From the airport, the N-340 leads to Fuengirola (southwest of the airport) and Málaga (northeast of the airport). Once in Málaga, the N-331 leads north to Córdoba. The airport is also accessible from the E-15, which leads to the coast.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Rail:
Train: Local trains to Málaga leave every 30 minutes 0703-2345 and to Torremolinos and Fuengirola every 30 minutes 0558-2243.
Road:
Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminals (journey time to Málaga or Fuengirola: 20 minutes; journey time to Torremolinos: 15 minutes); a small airport charge is added to the fare. Bus: Tourist shuttle buses and bus no. 19 run to Málaga (leaving every 30 minutes 0630-2330) and can be caught outside International Arrivals.
