TOURIST INFORMATION

There are three help desks. The first is in Terminal 2, Departures 3, the second is in Terminal 1, Arrivals B, and the third is at the information point in the central hall. There is a meeting point in front of the information desk in the central hall.

AIRPORT FACILITIES

Money and communications: Facilities include bureaux de change and a post office in the central building. The bureau de change (tel: (0)4 72 22 76 95) is open 0630-1030 Monday-Friday, 0630-2130 Saturday and 0800-2200 Sundays and bank holidays. There is also a bureau de change on level 0 in Terminal 1, Arrivals B. The post office is open 0800-1900 Monday-Friday and 0800-1200 Saturday; it is located in the central hall. ATMs can be found in Terminal 2, Arrivals C and in Terminal 1, Departures 4.
Eating and drinking: There is a bar in the central building. Bars are located in both terminals. Restaurants are located in the central building.
Shopping: Shopping includes a jewellers, clothes shops, a mobile telephone shop and a perfume shop, located in the central hall and Terminals 1 and 2. Duty free shops are located in both terminals.
Luggage: A left luggage service (tel: (0)4 7222 7428) is available in the central building. Left luggage is open 24 hours a day and is located in the central hall, level 1.
Other facilities: The airport has VIP reception facilities; helicopter air taxis (from Lyon Bron Airport) are also available (tel: (0)4 7826 8109). There is a spiritual centre on level 1 in the central hall; Catholic mass takes place at 1700 every day except Tuesday. Mother and baby rooms are also available on level 0 in Terminal 1, level 1 in the central hall and level 0 in Terminal 2. There is a travel agency (tel: (0)4 72 22 76 76) in the central building

SERVICE TO PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

The airport has telephone kiosks which are accessible to wheelchair users. It also has disabled toilets. Disabled passengers are advised to contact their airline directly for assistance with boarding and report to the check-in desk on arrival. They are recommended to use covered car park P0 which is close to both terminals. There is also a set-down point in front of Terminal 1 and reserved spaces are located in front of the train station

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

The airport business centre (tel: (0)4 7222 8374; fax: (0)4 7222 7471) in the Arc building has 11 meeting rooms. It also has an 80-seat conference hall and audiovisual equipment, secretarial services and catering facilities. In addition to this, fax and Minitel services are available in the central hall, opposite the post office.

CAR RENTAL

All car hire agencies are located on level 1 in car park P1. Car hire companies include ADA (tel: (0)4 7222 7492), Avis (tel: (0)4 7222 7525), Budget (tel: (0)4 7222 7474), Europcar (tel: (0)4 7222 7528), Hertz (tel: (0)4 7222 7451), National (tel: (0)4 7222 7487) and Sixt (tel: (0)4 7222 7272). Chauffeur driven cars can also be hired from Chabe-Verjat limousine service (tel: (0)4 7256 5181).

CAR PARKING

There are several parking options (tel: (0)4 7222 7221). Car park P0 offers short-term parking with direct lift access to the terminals, P1 and P2 are short-term car parks, and P5 and P6 are long-term car parks connected to the airport terminals by a free shuttle bus. There is also a set-down car park outside Terminal 1, which allows travellers 10 minutes, free parking.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

The airport is located on the A432, 24km (15 miles) east of Lyon. It can be accessed from the A42 towards Geneva and the A43 towards Chambéry.

AIRPORT HOTELS

Hotels within the airport grounds include the 4-star Sofitel (tel: (0)4 7223 3805) and the 2-star Kyriad (tel: (0)4 7223 9090). There is a free shuttle bus between the Kyriad Hotel and the terminals. The Sofitel Hotel can be reached directly from the central building, level 1.
