SERVICE TO PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES

Wheelchair transportation for disabled passengers is available on request (tel: (0)511 977 1227); wheelchairs can be obtained from airline ticket counters. Lifts for wheelchairs are located throughout, whilst all doors at the airport open automatically and are wide enough for wheelchairs. There are also disabled toilets, which are located in the area between the terminals. Accessible public telephones are situated on the Arrivals and Departures levels. In parking garages P1 and P2, there are numerous parking spaces reserved for disabled travellers.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

Mövenpick Conference Center (tel: (0)511 977 2509) provides ten different conference rooms for 5-350 people. Conference and business facilities are also available at the Maritim Hotel (tel: (0)511 97370) and the Holiday Inn (tel: (0)511 77070), both of which are located on site.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Driving on highway A7 (Hamburg-Kassel) or on highway A2 (Berlin-Dortmund), take highway A352 or the Langenhagen exit for the airport.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Rail:
Train: S-Bahn trains on line S5 transport passengers from the airport to the central railway station (journey time: 12 minutes).
Road:
Taxi: Taxi stands are located at the entrance of the Arrivals terminal (Journey time to central Hanover: approximately 20 minutes). Bus: Bus no. 471 connects the airport with Langenhagen; take tram no.1 from Langenhagen to the main railway station
