TOURIST INFORMATION

An information booth (tel: 902 873 1223) is located on the main level, near Domestic Arrivals. It is open 0900-2100 Monday-Sunday.

AIRPORT FACILITIES

Money and communications: Several bureaux de change, a postbox and a fax machine are available. There are also two ATMs on the main level and on the Departures level.
Eating and drinking: There are numerous cafés and restaurants (tel: 902 873 3666) on the main and Departures level of the terminal building.
Shopping: Shops, which include a gift shop, book shop and duty-free shop, are generally open 0700-2100.
Luggage: Left luggage (tel: 902 873 1039) is held by the Canadian Corps of Commisionaires.
Other facilities: There is an airport chapel located on the mezzanine level

The airport has barrier-free access and TDD telephones. It is wheelchair accessible and has reserved parking, as well as lifts between floors.

CAR PARKING

Short- and long-term parking (tel: 902 873 1423) is available in open-air car parks, which are patrolled 24 hours a day. There are 1410 spaces in the long-term car park and 224 short-term spaces at parking meters. The terminal can be accessed from two levels; passengers either walk through the south or centre entrances from the lower level or walk through the south or centre entrances next to the drop-off points on the main level.

The airport can be reached from Hwy-102 leading north out of Halifax.

Taxi: Taxi services are available from in front of the Domestic Arrivals area. Limousine: Limousine services are available from in front of the Domestic Arrivals area. Bus: Zincks Bus Company (tel: 902 873 2091) runs a shuttle service from the airport via numerous hotels in the area to Metro Halifax (tel: 902 490 6600). Acadian Lines (tel: 902 454 9321) also operates a bus service to/from the airport. Shuttles depart for Sydney, Annapolis Valley, Yarmouth, Truro and Prince Edward Island.
