Transfer Between Terminals: There is only one terminal, but
the airport has a sector on French land, which enables travellers without a
Swiss visa to take domestic French flights into the Geneva Airport French sector
and take road, bus or train connections on to nearby French towns and ski resorts
without passing through Swiss territory.

The airport's SkyCom business centre offers private office facilities with PC, fax and modem, 11 conference rooms (seating from four to 70 people) and secretarial and translation services (tel: (0)22 788 1430). There is also a business corner offering basic photocopying, fax and telephone facilities payable by credit card.
Car hire companies include Alamo , Avis , Budget , Europcar and Hertz .
There are short- and long-term parking facilities with direct access to the airport. An economy car park is also available for long-term parking approximately eight minutes' walk from the terminal. There is a dedicated car park for the French sector.
The main Swiss sector of the airport is accessible from the N1 airport motorway with the payment of the vignette motorway tax. From France, take the A40 autoroute (motorway) to the border and then the N1 airport motorway. In order to avoid Swiss territory entirely, drive direct to the French sector via Ferney-Voltaire, near Collonges on the D-984; at Ferney-Voltaire follow the signs for Geneva and, just before Swiss customs, take the road on the right to the Geneva Airport French sector.
Rail:
Train: Geneva railway station is 300m (328 yards) from the Departures and Arrivals
floors; all trains stop at central Geneva-Cornavin (journey time: approximately
seven minutes) and there are also direct trains to destinations throughout
Switzerland and Europe.
Road:
Bus: TPG (Geneva Public Transport) has bus stops outside Departures and Arrivals.
Bus no. 10 leaves every ten minutes for central Geneva, and bus no. 18 every
30 minutes for the UN. Bus services from the French sector connect to regional
French towns. Aero Ski Bus provides services from Geneva International Airport
(International and French sectors) to many of the French ski stations. Aero-Express
Geneva offers shuttle services between Grenoble, Chambéry, Lyon and Geneva
International Airport. Free hotel shuttle buses leave every 20 minutes (after
0600) outside the Arrivals level for major hotels
The Movenpick Airport is a short walk from the airport; alternatively a shuttle bus departs for the hotel from outside Arrivals every 20 minutes. Hotels located near the airport site with a free shuttle bus service include the Crown Plaza (tel: (0)22 791 0011) and Movenpick (tel: (0)22 989 9000) in Switzerland, and the Novotel (tel: 33 (0)4 5040 8523) in the French sector.
