Transfer Between Terminals: A free shuttle bus service running every 10-20 minutes transfers passengers between terminals 1 and 2.

TOURIST INFORMATION

There are information desks in each terminal (tel: (0)3 398 2050 Terminal 1 or 398 3274 Terminal 2). Counters for visa services and customs are on the third floor. Airline baggage and tourism counters are on the first floor of the Arrivals lounge. A tourist services counter is situated in the passenger reception area of Terminal 1 Arrivals (tel: (0)3 398 2194).

AIRPORT FACILITIES

Money and communications: Two banks have outlets throughout the airport providing various facilities including ATMs and a bureau de change. An Internet room, mobile telephone services, a post office and telephones are located in Terminal 1 Departures.
Eating and drinking: Chinese and Western restaurants are located around the airport.
Shopping: Shops, including duty free, are located around the airport.
Other facilities: A medical centre, insurance counters, nursery and children's playroom are located in Terminal 1 Departures. In Terminal 2 there is a barbers and a transit hotel for passengers waiting to transfer to another flight

Disabled travellers may park free of charge for the first day of their stay in the airport car park.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

On the fourth floor of Terminal 2 Departures there is a business centre which also offers conference rooms for hire. Further conference and communications facilities are provided at the CKS Airport Hotel, 2km (1 mile) away, with free shuttle transfer (tel: (0)3 383 3666). Meeting and seminar rooms for up to 350 delegates, IDD lines in each guest room and an Internet centre are available.

There are car hire desks in the Arrivals lobby of terminals 1 and 2.

CAR PARKING

The car parks are located on the ground level of the east and west sides of the Terminal 1 building and on the ground and underground levels of the east and west sides of the Terminal 2 building.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Travelling from Taipei take the Sun Yat-sen freeway southwest towards Taipei and Taichung/ChungLi, and turn off at the airport interchange just after the Nankan Nokan interchange.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Rail:
Train: A city MRT and high-speed train system are planned for the near future.
Road:
Taxi: Taxis are available from the Arrivals hall 24 hours a day to Taipei and Taichung. Bus: Buses are provided by six companies, including the Kou Kuang Motor Transport Co Ltd and Taiwania Air Bus; buses leave every 15-30 minutes serving city centre destinations (journey time: approximately 40 minutes) as well as Taipei Rail Station. There are also buses to Taoyuan and Chungli run by the Taoyuan Bus Corporation, and to Taichung (journey time: 2 hours) as well as other areas

The CKS Airport Hotel (tel: (0)3 383 3666) is located 2km (1 mile) from the terminal and is served by a free shuttle bus about every 30 minutes. There is a transit hotel in Terminal 2 for passengers waiting to transfer to another flight. Taipei hotels include the Holiday Inn , Crowne Plaza , Ritz Landis and Sheraton . In the Arrivals lobby of both terminals, there are hotel reservation counters and hotel representatives.
